3-DAY ADVENTURE:
SAKARUN BEACH - SALI
1. DAY: ZADAR – SAKARUN BEACH
Start from Zadar in morning hours. Sailing through Zadar channel along the island Ugljan and through the passage Veli Ždrelac to the Middle channel. Short sail towards island Lagnići where we will make a stop next to the stranded ship. Swimming and snorkeling, exploring the seabed. We then continue towards Sakarun beach. Sakarun beach is known by white send and clear blue Sea. It is surrounded by pine tree wood which is giving you shade in summer warm days. In the late afternoon, we will make a stop in the old military tunnels. Overnight in one of the local places.
2. DAY: SAKARUN BEACH – VELI ART - TELAŠĆICA NATURE PARK – SALI
In the morning, we are starting with visting Veli rat lighthouse. This lighthouse was built in 1849, it´s 42 meters high and today it is the highest lighthouse in the Adriatic. Our sail will continue next to Long Island towards Telašćica Nature Park. Telašćica bay is one of the biggest natural harbors in which are 6 Islands, 25 coves, 69 km long coastline. The most famous sightseeing of Telašćica Nature Park is salt Lake Mir, which you will have a chance to visit when stopping for a swim, nice walk and lunch. Overnight in Sali, known by fishing tradition from 10th century as well as maintenance of olive fields and agriculture.
3. DAY: SALI – DEVIL´S CLIFTS – ZADAR
On your way back to Zadar, you will sail next to Devil´s cliffs, which are part of the Kornati National park and represent karst phenomenon. Stopping in your Captains favourite cove Lojena on the island Levrnaka. Return to Zadar in the late afternoon hours.
ABOUT THE BOAT:
For this trip usually we use Bavaria 37 or similar. This boat is 11,56 m long and 3,67 m wide. It has 3 double cabins, shower & WC and small kitchen with all equipment. This boat has Volvo engine and maximum speed is 6 Nm per hour. Boat is equipped with VHF radio, GPS, Radio, CD player, autopilot, depth sounder...
REMARK:
On the boat, CAPTAIN (skipper) is the responsible one and as such is free to make decisions on his own. In case of bad weather, CAPTAIN (skipper) has the right to change the route. In case that route has been changed because of the bad weather, guests do not have the right to money refund.
